There he is, my oldest, standing outside in the snow in his shorts, flip flops, short sleeved shirt, with sock covered hands.  It is a classic image of a southerner who enjoys year round warm weather standing outside to enjoy a fluke snow storm that would grace the south for a day.
Nathan really doesn't have an excuse for this though.  We have lived in two wintery states and enjoyed nearly four years of annual snowfall and white Christmas'.  So his choice in wardrobe is a result of pure laziness.  I snapped a couple of pictures of his lunacy before I stepped in and made him dress more appropriately.

Job 38:22 “Have you entered the treasury of snow..."

I love the snow.  I've already written about that.  So when the snow fell in a steady flurry all night long, I looked up into the sky with a large smile and said, thank you.  I also made potato soup with a toasted baguette.  Carb on carb...who doesn't love that?  Next, I took a thousand pictures, and titled the file "blizzard of 2013".  Haha.  I crack myself up.

Seriously though, I never thought I would take so many pictures of the snow.  But gosh darn it, I never get to see snow anymore and it is SO pretty-- as if it fell straight from heaven.

So now I am going to bombard you with all the pictures I took.  Don't worry...there won't be a thousand of them.

 Eating snow...
 Eating more snow...
 And some more...
 He was saying, "Gooooooood."

All the snow melted by 10:30 the next morning, but we enjoyed it while it lasted.  :)
Now I'm ready for spring.
